Home Ownership Made Easy: Follow The Eight Steps

1. Apply for a Pre-Approved Mortgage so you can act quickly on the acquisition.

2. Contact a Real Estate Agent who will discover your needs and wants and show you properties in the range you have been approved for financing.

3. Make an offer on the property.

4. Contact your Real Estate Attorney, who will ensure that the property you want to purchase has a good title.

5. Meet with your mortgage officer, who will arrange for the property appraisal and have you sign off on the mortgage finance letter.

6. Sign off on the Sale and Purchase Agreement either at the Real Estate Company or at the Law Firm.

7. Your Real Estate Attorney will establish a closing date upon receipt of the Mortgage Finance Letter from your Bank.

8. The Closing Day takes place at the law firm where your attorney will explain the closing statement, you will sign off on the conveyance document and mortgage deed, and be handed the keys to your home. I truly enjoy assisting the first-time home buyer to acquire the property most suitable to their needs. Not only am I an experienced agent, but I also have 35 years of mortgage experience. I can help you navigate those steps by guiding you through the homeowner process, which can be a daunting experience at times.
